This school year at James Madison University, “Sky’s the Limit” is the theme. The theme was taken from a quote during the introductory news conference for new head football coach Everett Withers. “It shares the vision of what JMU football is trying to build and hopefully brings in the excitement of the journey to win a national championship,” explained Stephen Pugh, JMU Athletics’ Director of Marketing.
With the help of Old Hat Creative, a sports marketing agency based in Norman, Oklahoma, the JMU Athletics team will communicate a message of limitless possibilities this season to JMU sports fans.
JMU students, alumni, and the Shenandoah Valley local community can expect a myriad of excitement building printed pieces. Posters are used to promote the breadth of JMU sports teams as well as their game schedules. The posters can even be used as collector’s items and autograph pieces for fans.
